Christine Hux – Director of Quality
My story begins in Greeneville, Tennessee then goes halfway around the world to come full circle back home. My formative years and education were centered in East Tennessee. I am a graduate of East Tennessee State University with a B.S in Engineering Technology and of Tusculum College with a Master’s Degree in Organizational Management. From East Tennessee and with many years of engineering experience under my belt, I entered my career as a Productivity Engineer at the Toyota headquarters in Erlanger, Kentucky. I then made the journey across the nation and the Pacific Ocean to Nagoya, Japan where I worked on Boeing’s Dreamline Project in Supply Chain Management. After gaining extensive experience and a plethora of knowledge, I returned home to offer my unique set of skills to the Greeneville area.
I have over 20 years of experience in various engineering disciplines: industrial, manufacturing, product, process improvement, and quality engineering. I have a strong background in TPS (Toyota Production System), Lean, and proudly “wear” a Six Sigma black belt. I also have certifications in IATF16949, ISO 9001:2015 Auditor, and Field Failure Analysis.
I bring to TEVET my passion for problem solving and developing best practice methods, root cause analysis and implementing permanent corrective actions, and the creation of repeatable results focusing on quality products/services. I look forward to being a part of TEVET’s commitment to Operational Excellence.
In my leisure time, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, traveling, gardening (organic food), tending to my 20+ rose bushes and making bouquets for others, snowboarding, gourmet cooking, cake decorating, being a foodie, and watching Alabama football.Explore Our Team
