Michael Fairbanks – Technical Project Manager
I recently joined the TEVET team in September 2018 as a Technical Program Manager.
Out of high school, I joined the United States Coast Guard and served as an HH3F and HH60J flight Mechanic and Electronics Technician. During my enlistment, I performed missions from law enforcement to Search and Rescue. When not flying I repaired the electronic and electrical systems. I received a commission to the officer corps and became a project manager leading teams to design, install, and support electronic system in aircraft and at our nation’s ports. After almost 33 years of duty military service, it instilled a strong work ethic, organizational skills, and sense of teamwork in me. Working at TEVET allows me the opportunity to give service to our country from a different position.
During my service, I received my Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering Tech from the New England Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Trident University. I have over 12 years of experience in electronic systems project management. My goal at TEVET is to utilize continuous improvement techniques to assist the team in achieving everlasting growth and success.
New to Tennessee, my wife and I enjoy hiking, riding my motorcycle, and playing golf very poorly.Explore Our Team
